If you're new to Maine, then first you must Apply for a Trade Account.
If you're an existing customer requiring new catalogues you can either request them over the phone through your sales coordinator, or send us an email via sales@mainefurniture.co.uk.

How do I apply for an account?
Complete the form on our website - Apply for a Trade Account.

What happens next?
We do a number of checks to establish the validity of your business and that all goods purchased on the account will be used in a commercial environment.

What sort of checks do you do?
- Business location to asses the proximity to any current established customers.
- We validate your company registration with Companies House and VAT registration number via the internet.
- We look at your website to view the product contect, style and layout of the site to check that our products fit with your existing product offering, plus the contact details displayed for your customers. We also look at any feedback from your customers to see the level of customer service you achieve.
- We check your premises and location via Google Street View.

Do you have a minimum spend?
Yes, £500 pounds per order. If you are unable to reach this level, we can supply a list of Maine Furniture Co stockists in your area.

Can you deliver my orders?
Yes, our delivery service is carriage paid for deliveries of £500 or more if you hold a relevant account. We will only deliver to commercial premises.

Can I collect my orders?
Yes, you can arrange to collect your order from our Warehouse in Yorkshire. A minimum spend of £250 is required for counter collections.

Do you offer credit terms?
All our accounts are COD, and your first 3 transactions will be on a pro forma basis and after that you can pay on the day of delivery. Credit terms may be offered at our discretion, in circumstances where volume and credit rating dictates.

Do you use RRP?
Our pricelist shows an SRP (Suggested Retail Price), from which discounts are offered for trade customers. This is a guide only, issued to support your marketing efforts. These discounts allow our customers to achieve extremely lucrative profit margins.

Can I sell your products online?
Yes, provided you have requested permission first, but we do not allow the sale or promotion of our products on Ebay, Amazon or any other multi-retailer network.

Do you supply Internet only companies?
We have a limited selection of specialist Internet only companies who work very closely with us to positively promote and sell Maine products. At this time, we are not actively seeking further e-commerce only retailers in the UK.

Can I return faulty items?
Yes, if you have goods that are damaged you must let us know via our returns form with 72 hours of receiving your order. Please keep all goods in the original packaging and they will be uplifted at the time of your next delivery. The items will be QC inspected once they arrive back at our warehouse and a credit will be issued to your account once the details of the damage has been verified. However, we do not take responsibility for any goods transported via third party carrier.

Do Maine have showrooms I can visit?
No, at the moment our distribution centre is at bulk storage capacity and we prefer to pass the savings we make on the cost of expensive showrooms to you in the very competitive prices we offer on our products.
You may view all our products, including current stock levels and place your orders via our website.

Do We Supply The General Public?
Unfortunately we only supply the trade, however many of our products are available from home stores nationwide and online retailers. If you need any help locating a stockist please email hello@mainefurniture.co.uk and a member of the sales team will be happy to help.

I Am A New Customer, How Do I Buy From You?
Click 'Apply For A Trade Account', fill in your details and a member of our accounts team will evaluate your application and get back to you if they need any more information. If everything is satisfactory, we will open your account and send you your log in details from where you will be able to place orders online. If you're more traditional, you can place orders over the phone or by email.

Do We Accept Foreign Currency?
We can accept payment in EURO's for orders delivered to the EU, and US Dollars for FOB container orders only. Otherwise, we like our Sterling!

Your Images Are Terrific, Can We Use Them?
We take great care in shooting our images in the best setting to compliment them, and they are there to be used. You may only use images for products which you have purchased atleast once from us, and they must be requested in writing and approved by us.

There are a few restrictions however, we don't like our images being used on marketplace websites like eBay, Amazon, Etsy etc...

Can We Manufacture Products To Customer Specification?
Yes! We have established relationships over 45 years with factories all over the world, so it would be a shame not to utilise their manufacturing expertise to the most.

Many larger retailers utilise us to design and manufacture products to their own specification, including own branding and bespoke retail packaging. For orders of this nature, minimum qty's per item often apply and minimum 40'HC container volume is required.
